I should preface this post by saying that this is completely my own opinion and my writing is not at all sponsored or swayed by Gift Republic.
So I’ve mentioned before how useful I find Stress Less cards, and that wasn’t a lie, but they’ve been increasingly helpful to me these last couple of weeks. Job hunting and other factors (my dog being ill) have been conspiring to stress me out, so I decided to try a new daily practice to make me stress less: using one of my Stress Less Cards every day.
Though Stress Less cards have been made by several companies, the Stress Less Cards I used are manufcatured by Gift Republic, and speaking personally, they’re really good! The Stress Less cards are designed to help reduce your stress and anxiety in a matter of a few moments, and I think that everybody who has had a stressful time or is prone to stress and anxiety should try them. I’m going to talk a bit about how I’ve been using the Stress Less Cards recently and how they’ve helped me.
How I’ve Been Using The Stress Less Cards
My routine for using the Stress Less Cards in the last couple of weeks has been to look at one each evening when I’m lying in bed. I’ll just sit on my bedside, open the Stress Less box and pick a card.
Types of Stress Less Cards.
I’ve found that there are three main categories the Stress Less Cards can fall into. Some of them will have something that I can think about or work on long term, like this one below:

This Stress Less Card was really useful for me because I keep spending time in the evening just looking for work, applying for jobs, and even writing, editing, and submitting stories, when I should probably just be doing nothing at all.
Some of the other Stress Less cards will have something for me to do immediately, such as this one:

A Stress Less Card like this might seem simple, but it can be really helpful at getting me to explore my feelings and ask myself why I’m feeling stress in the moment, or, in the case of this exercise, in the evening. I’ll get confused as to why I’m stressed even when I’m not working, but this Stress Less Card is an example of how these tools can help me think about my deeper emotions, and why I’m feeling this way.
The other kind of Stress Less Card I’ve found is where they will hold a statement. The statement cards look like this:

With these kinds of Stress Less Cards, I’ll say the statement out loud. It can also be useful to repeat the statement a couple of times, even if it’s just in your head. Doing this acts as a little mantra which you can have when you’re stressed in the moment or throughout the day.
Of course, this is just how I use the Stress Less Cards, and there are many other ways to use them, but they can be really helpful at combating stress. They’re really easy to use, and offer little momenets to, yep, you guessed it, stress less! From a personal standpoint, they’re miracle workers, and I can’t recommend them enough.
If you haven’t tried Stress Less Cards before, get stressed very quickly, or have any other stress-related problems and want to try a method that can be quick and effective (but also have long-term impacts), then check out Stress Less Cards! They can be found online and in lots of different types of shops!
I’ll put a few more photos I’ve taken of my Stress Less Cards here, to give you some more examples:

Do you use Stress Less Cards? Do you have another, similar type of tool to use against stress? I’d love to hear about it!
Until next time,
Conrad 🙂
